Clocks went back at 2am Sunday,
Everyone gets all excited about getting an extra hours sleep!, i set my clocks back at 7pm to 6pm on the Saturday evening and enjoyed another hour in front of a roaring open fire listening to music with this Autumn goodness pressed and bottled here in East Lothian...
Sundays forecast was for sideways rain, so surprised when i woke and peeped out behind the curtains to see stars at around 6.30am!, up , dressed and cereal scoffed with a cup of tea and i rode along to Tyninghame at sunrise now 07.07am but a dark cloud line would see no sunshine yet...
Until riding through Binning Wood...
Could be from a Walt Disney film...
Into the light...
Past a road block from 70 years ago...
And what an amaing light on the coast!, one of the best sunrises i have ridden on the coast this year -) ...
A film uploaded on Flickr of the view, may not be viewable on mobile devices...
This is one of my favourite parts of coastline in East Lothian. I used to love coming here as a kid with my dad when he was countryside ranger...
And it has never changed, except we can enjoy it on bikes that are fun to cycle here -) ...
A natural playground for fatbikes....
Around to St Baldreds Cradle...
And along to drop onto the beach at Peffersands...
"Purple haze...all in my brain"...
"Lately things just don`t seem the same"...
"Actin funny, but i don`t know why"...
"Scuse me while i kiss the sky"...
Just listening to some Jimi Hendrix as i cruised up the beach... -)
Natures soundtrack is even better though, the sound of the sea never stops...
No one around... "me time" on the coast...
Mr Fox has been here...
Time to get the Fat BOB Trailer out as some nice firewood washed up having come out the Tyne Estuary...
Soaking up the views here on the coast...
Back along to Tyninghame woods... hello! -)
And along the Secret trail, here is an old film i did back in 2009, see how changed the trail is to now if you know it; Secret Trail 2009 and home before 10am just as the wind got up, this evening it is wild outside with 25 mph gusts and rain forecast tomorrow.
The fire is roaring and poured a cider, listening to Boards of Canada
Project Excelsior - google it, an amazing human achievement
I have already blogged it and the film below by my favourite Scottish band...
