From a `Driech` day, to big skies...

Saturday was a horrendous day weather wise with sideways rain and low visibility,
Some idiots were still out cycling on the coast keeping the dream live...

After the wash out of Saturday, Sunday dawned with big blue skies!...
I went  a walk up Byres Hill and Garleton Monument with Mowgli...

Here is my back yard...

After a visit to see mum i headed to John Muir Park for a loop at low tide, again with Mowgli...

Sand was blowing in the strong southerly wind...

Not much surf  but folk out enjoying their Sunday,,,

Big sky over Dunbar...

Out at the point and a 6 feet high sand bank above the river Tyne estuary...

Then around the point and some sand moguls-this is Surly Moonlander territory...

Mowgli was happy cooling down in the Tyne estuary...

Across the wet sands and miles away from anyone despite the busy car park when i arrived...

Back through the woods and ace woodland trails...

More soon...
