Sandstorm Saturday coasting...
After heavy rain Saturday`s skies brightened up a bit around 10am when we went out cycling from North Berwick,
The wind however was a bit wild!, but we managed to stay a bit sheltered inland via Yellowcraig.
Big skies overhead with impressive storm clouds whizzed past in the gale force South westerly wind...
Up to Gullane and an ice cream, Nice old 110 Series 3, similar to the Station Waggon my dad had that we grew up in...
Mowgli sat and drooled hope full as always of something being dropped-no chance!...
This `Loupin on Stane` for mounting horses is a folly, Francis says it is also a bit to tall, nice feature anyway...
Dunno if the BBC fear mongering weather forecast had scared people away but Gullane car park was near deserted...
The weather was not bad at all as the strong wind was not gusting, just howling all the time!...
Loads of blown sand has covered all the rocks usually ridden over here...
Sands were blowing and drifting...
The coast was near devoid of people. We saw no one between Freshwaterhaven to Broadsands...
Love it when the coast is like this, esp when the wind is behind!...
Great light again today...
And soon enough back into town...
And a local couple out walking chatted for a while and he could not resist a shot of my Pugsley, big grins :)...
More soon...
