Racing the High Tide...

Out early on the coast this morning to get along to Aberlady before the 4.5 meter high tide at 9.45am...

But the tide waits for no one and i had to detour above the coast at the usual Point Gary, Marine Villa, and after riding the `Bake Bean Trail` rode up to Gullane Hill...

Descending  `Maggies Loup` the coast was cut off below the cliffs so i continued to Gullane point passing this great piece of driftwood that would make a great garden table!...

Through the Reserve to Gala Hill (Quarry corner) and the JMW back to Gullane village and then descend to the Black rocks west of Freshwaterhaven...

Nice to get out and enjoy a quiet coastline with just a few early doors dog walkers....

Here is a short film of the ride to Gullane Hill...
Song is `Buckie High` (edited)  by Boards of Canada...
