From the Whiteadder Water a track climbs up to Gameshiel Castle, not much remains, just a coouple of walls, but scenic enough for the climb to be worthwhile...
A tough climb leads up onto the western shoulder of Spartleton Law where a fast descent by track leads to the original Pylon Road through what is now Aitkengall Windfarm...
Keep an eye out for Adders!, here was a youngster sitting on the track in the midday sun...
