Sunday xc cycle with friends....
Finally a daytime cycle with (little) rain!,
Been an awful last 10 days of weather-biting cold onshore easterly wind and freezing cold rain,
I turned back home from a cycle after just a couple of miles on Saturday as the heavens opened with heavy showers that were on and off the rest of the day and were not in the forecast...
Going into Hospital in a few weeks for an Operation the last thing i need is to go down with a cold and have low a immune system...
So when Sunday`s forecast looked more promising-still that cold east wind Stuart and Craig suggested a wee cycle and we rode from NB east into the biting wind, then from Seacliff along to Tyninghame and Binning Woods then back to NB via the John Muir Way...
Another hole in the wall...
Auldhame...
Seacliff...
Old Albion lorry...
Sun!
Secret trail...
Good to get out in daylight again and although baltic cold worth it, good to also get home and heat up in front of the stove!

Hope you get this message Bruce. Been following your blog for ages. Inspired me to buy my fat bike and get back into cycling at the wrong side of 50! Sunday was a bit nipping down here too on the East Durham coast, but managed an 18 mile round trip down to Crimdon beach and back.
ReplyDeleteThanks for looking in on the blog Fat Bike Slim, winter has been a real cold damp air season so far!
