Isolation Cycle 29; Hedderwick Sands
Cooler temps again and a wee cycle around John Muir Park and a low tide...
Cycling across the exposed sands i spied a .303 cartridge, one of thousands fired here during WW2 when the Bay was a live fire range, closed to the public as most of the counties coastline was...
5 minutes walking about and we had a few more...
Left overnight in tomato sauce they cleaned up well....
The markings all mean something, where they were manufactured and what type of round they were,
You can find out what they are here;
