Blog update, where have I been?, and a Revisit to Cramond Island WW2 Coastal defences...

 

Not been blogging much as not been cycling as much with no van of my own yet...

Thing is you make a film and post it on YouTube and you get loads of views , comments, and now my YouTube channel is monetised a little bit money, so I am finding it real hard to motivate myself to spend time writing on here anymore, 

I guess the world is changing and less people take the time to read things these days and a lot of folk are sucked into the browsing nation of scrolling through social media platforms with a short concentration time span...

We still like to read an interesting book, and I see the blog still gets views so for the silent followers out there I will try keep posting stuff, sometimes it will just be a photo dump to store pictures and often just a link to the latest film I have made, 

As winter rolls in for myself this is the time to go cycling,  on the coast or in the local hills on the gravel wind farm tracks, days out with less folk going about and lovely high pressure clear days with that fantastic light we get on the Scottish east coast!

Meanwhile here is a blog post!, from over a month ago while we had to go into Edinburgh so we also went for a walk across to Crammond Island, a massive WW1 then WW2 coastal defence comprising searchlights and gun batteries was built here to protect the Royal Navy fleet...
