Roadtrip Pt3. Draculas Castle! Crude Bay to Stonehaven, then ride with Wee Mark to Montrose...

Wee film...

Day 3 dawned clear skies! after a stormy night though I was tucked up warm and dry in the tent with the hip flask!,   Packed up I retraced a few miles back up the road to Slains Castle, where Bram Stocker wrote some of  his famous novel Dracula while staying at Cruden Bay...

I then followed the single track coast roads down to join the fast duel carrigeway and around Aberdeen and faster roads south for last few miles to Stonehaven, where a few minutes later Mark rolled in on his immaculate yellow Royal Enfield Meteor 350 named Bumble..

We roared together down to Montrose stopping at a few cool things to see on the way this area being Marks back yard he showed me stuff you would never know about scooting along the road to Montrose..

Parked up in Montrose we got some pics and had a good chat before I started the 3 hours or so 130ish mile  ride home hoping to get around the Edinburgh City Bypass before rush hour,  which I thankfully did !

A great end to the warmer seasons with a 3rd road trip on the Royal Enfield Classic 350!

An amazing bike that I have now done 10,000 miles on and there will be a review film on that on here soon which is already on Youtube and got 3 thousand views in 24 hours!

More soon...
