Midweek cycle Pt 3 of 3; mid tide beachride along Longniddry...
As far as chips go they don't come better than at Port Seaton and despite the wind we sat at enjoyed them before dropping down to Seatonsands and onto the coast as the low winter sun broke through casting long shadows as we raced down the beach with a strong tail wind...

High Tide trails at JMP...
This week has seen some real high tides, 5.8 meters with the strong wind pushing them leading to a lot of coast line no much good for cycling!, but there is always somewhere to cycle along the coast despite these real high tides, take today at John Muir Park, through the centre of the salt marsh is always rideable as the marsh fills from both ends at the highest tides leading to what essentially becomes an island though the water is only an inch or so deep in the centre...
Here is a wee bit film riding out and across the salt marsh and out to the point,
Song is what been going through my head during the cycle; `Reach For The Dead` by Boards of Canada
The Go Pro HERO 8 Black camera I recently bought has been really good with a big improvement in quality and stabilisation...
Midweek cycle Pt 2 of 3; cycle around Prestongrange Museum...
I need to return along here once the museum reopens again and have a read through the history of this place as it is indeed full of history...
Thousands of bricks were made here, every WW2 building around the country is build with Preston Grange bricks. This place is from a bygone era where people worked hard for a living and people of today need to read about their lives,
It was a hard life for those that worked in these industries but it was these industries that helped build the British Empire and should always be remembered...
Wee film, Song is `The Pit` by Public Service Broadcasting,
