Sunday beachride...
It is a nice loop from home to John Muir Park at Dunbar, i can get there via farm tracks, and woodland trails, linked by stubble fields and grassy field boundary's, all off road and car free...
Onto the John Muir Way trail which will take me to the Bay...
Wet harvest indeed, look at the ruts made by the combine harvester...
Driftwood beach hut?...
Combine at Hedderwick, nearly all the fields are cut now...
The first picture i took of the pugsley was at this bench, nearly 4 years ago, apart from the colour, not much has changed, yet so much has changed...
Around the high tide line...
Riding out to Spikey Point...
It was really windy out here at the point, with the bay full at high tide, i could see folk walking across at Tyninghame but was all alone over here...
A 360 view from the point...
A sea angler and a couple out walking were the only folk on the east beach, quiet for a Sunday, a faint pugsley track, could make out an Endomorph print, that will be Davie again!, this is his back yard...
The east side of Spikey point was really soft, down in low gears along here, look at the depth of the horse tracks, no probs for pugsley!...
The south end of the beach was hard and windswept...
Back along the bay, someone riding a normal bike, must have sore legs...
And home along through woods and stubble fields...
Horse Chestnuts...
And home along behind hedgerows out of that strong wind...
