Parked up from a days cutting...
I rode up to a hill i have not been up for a while...
Traprain Law...
From the river Tyne, a climb up an ancient old road...
Traprain Law is steeped in history...
Exmoor Ponies released on the Law to keep grass down and reduce the chance of fires which used to often occur on this ancient hill...
Cool clouds with a clearing sky to the west...
The view across to my work at Whitekirk Hill, I often post pics of Traprain from there...
Inland to the south, the Hill foots and beyond the Lammermuirs...
Wrong way down...
Fantastic light over Edinburgh...
Down we go...
The Pony's turned up inquisitive and friendly...
Mobile phones it seems do not show Flickr films (which can be uploaded up to a minute long) but if your on a PC then you can watch this wee film of the ponies....
Hello! -:)
They came over to check out and have a sniff at my bike...
"Hey check out those wheels guys"
"Its one of those Surlys"
"Yeah its a 29+ fatbike"
"yeah, cool..."
