Back on the beach on Two Wheels! - Rewind to February...

Back to work this week and i started a new job back in Greenkeeping again at a prestigious Club that i am enjoying with proper working conditions and payed overtime is available so all is good again...
I was also out cycling again with friends at the weekend and had a load of films and pics for 5 separate posts i put straight on here asap,
I also now have a back log of blog posts as i had a lot of time to write etc being off work recovering from the Cancer Op, these posts are not in chronicle order and jump back and forth over the last couple of weeks as i  started back cycling again, often with friends or with Jake Dog for company, been great to get back cycling again and has been great recovery therapy for the body and soul...

Anyway here is a post written 3 weeks ago when i first got back on the coast on two wheels!,
It was early February - 6 weeks after my Op.  and i had already been driving again for 2 weeks and been out doing loads of long walks and i felt better every day,
I was excited to return for a gentle easy cycle on the coast, it was still early days of recovery so had to be careful, with that in mind John Muir Park was chosen for the easy flat wide open trails and flat sand beaches as i could not risk to do anything daft going rock crawling or lifting of the bike yet...

Cold and an air frost first thing then warmer than previous recorded temps - this weather became the norm for February, hardly a spot of rain either! was an amazing months weather to be off work...

The Fat Wheels were refitted to my regular Pugsley as this is now become my go to beach bike the previous evening, and we were down early to a deserted beach and woodland trails - M`s dog Jake was staying for a couple of days and hyper as always to go to the beach!...

Love it here as usually quieter than west of North Berwick or across the estuary at Tyninghame and today it was deserted, just a couple of dog walkers and a runner on the sands...

Jake dog also loves it here, i think the wide open space makes him real happy as he runs round in big circles on the sands!, his tail never stops...

Little Egrot in the Beil burn, often there are a pair of these birds around the Tyne Estuary...

Happy dog!

Here is some film, was so happy to be beach riding again,  it`s good for the soul,
It`s what this blog was started for,
