A Sunday cycle around John Muir Park. I met Chris before midday and wrapped up in waterproofs as the morning saw heavy showers pass over leaving the local Lammermuir hills coated in light snow, the day would stay dry until nearly back at the car park but was baltic cold as we notched up 12 miles on sand along the flat beaches and woodland sandy single track ...
Some type of survival flotation device washed up...
`Bridge to Nowhere`...
Needs a high tide pic to fulfill the bridges local name...
Jake carried a stick most of the 12 miles!
Sand Moguls i call this where huge amounts of sand are moved by big swells and provide a good workout to transverse...
.303 bullet heads found in rabbit hole sand on Bullet Hill...
Chris had his stove for a coffee in the nearby WW2 army building...
Hedderwick Sands...
An ace 12 miles of coastal cycling, real soft in places, then as always ace woodland sandy single track...
A film from today's ride,
Song is `Telephasic Workshop` by Boards of Canada
More soon...
