Mid week beach ride - Aberlady

The same old places, but i never get tired of them...
Always a change in the scenery with the seasons, wildlife to be seen,  things washed up,  sands that constantly move and cover stuff,  and reveal stuff...
And when your on hols your getting paid to do your hobbies -:)...

This is The `Bore Stane` at Prora Farm, supposed to mark the spot where the last wild Boar was killed in Haddingtonshire (East Lothian)...

3 metal riveted bridges mark the line of the old railway branch line to Gullane,
Opened in 1850, closed in 1964...
In March after the shooting season  and before the spring vegetation i need to blog the route with pics of the railway in its golden years that i have collected...

Luffness...

Pugsley Purple -:) ...

Not that great an Autumn colour this year...

-:)

This large stone near the Gullane road on the salt marshes at Aberlady Bay does not appear to be from around here. You can read about it on friend Gary B`s website; Ancient Stones - Scotland

A course i once worked on...

How dunes are formed...

No films this week?, well i`m on hols and just chilling in the evenings and sitting in front of a roaring fire, having a few ciders, listening to music, reading, or watching the odd film on DVD...

Plenty more films to do, and time yet to do them...
