Mid Week beach ride - Gullane to North Berwick

After a lovely, if breezy days ride out to Aberlady Bay again today it was breezy but clear and sunny
12C, clear skies, strong westerly blowing in some surf, and amazing clarity and light,
Perfect Winter (Officially still Autumn) beach riding weather, joined today with friend Jason...

Archiefield Estate...

 We spied this car with roof full of bikes...

Jaguar launched a new car last week here at Archiefield and they have been doing a bit of tyre shrieking around East Fortune Race Circuit and i have seen these Jaguar estate cars on the country roads around here...

But this one is a bit different,
It is a Tour of Britain Sky Team car, here for promotional purposes,
It impressed some of the local fat bike posse -:)

The estate here used to be all woodland before the vast clearing of trees for 3 Golf Courses and houses...
It had some huge woods, spooky places to be away from roads and houses/people.

A sign here today beside the lovely chalets...

Makes me remember the woods here we rode BMX`s through when at high school, no one around for miles.
Changed days here now... when once you could imagine finding a place like this here... -:)
