Low tide cycle; Eyebroughty Island

Post work Cycle with Niall and we rode west from Archerfield through the dunes and woods  to Gullane beach taking in some of the ace sandy single track...

Troll!!!

With the tide so low we rode out to Eybroughty, here is the Island at high tide...

Today with a 1 meter low tide we abit 2 1/2 meters below the high tide level on the exposed sands and peddaled across into a strenghtening easterly head wind...

Out on the wee island which is an RSPB Reserve,  we did not wander far when i spotted ab Eider Duck sitting on her nest. so we backed off and left her to it...

Across the sand to below Marine Villa and along to Yellowcraig and back via the woods...

A fun wee cycle,
Wee film, Song is `One Day at a Time by Phontaine
