Mid Week Cycle-Pt2, Aberlady Bay

After cycling around the coast to Green Craig Island i decided to make the most of the low tide and forded the Peffer burn near it`s estuary and cycled east out across the 2 miles of sand across Aberlady Bay...

Love the isolated feeling out here alone...

The sub wrecks soon  came into view on the sand bar,,,

A lot of sand here this now...

Not much left of the eastern sub wreck now,

Other ship wrecks appear at low tides...

Soon reached sands end at Gullane Point...

Up onto the  Point for a pic in the lovely light looking back west across the bay...

Here is another wee film, Song is `Wizards of Ahhhs` by Sinewave

I decide to ride back to Aberlady Point direct across the bay, not stopping for pics here are some stills from the Go Pro as i crossed to ford the Peffer at Kilspindie...

Kilspindie ahead...

The old pier would have been here when this was the Port of Haddington...

Dry land close by...
