Midweek Cycle; Chasing the light...

Gotta be quick to get to the coast after work midweek now to get some daylight to ride and film...

Another evening of great light before the sun set behind low cloud...

Never seen so much beach glass as this year, must be the all the movement of the sand from wind and tides...

Not long in filling a bag...

Got what i came here for time to cycle and enjoy the last hour of daylight...

Here is a wee film, Song is `Music is Math` by Boards of Canada

Coastrider; Beach combing Beachride; Oct 2019 from coastkid71 on Vimeo.

The light was fading as the sun sank behind cloud. It was a lovely calm evening with just the noise of the waves gently lapping the shore so i cycled west along to Gullane Sands...

From Gullane sands the beach cut off at the cliffs with he high tide so up to the car park then along to the cliffs and down across the Reserve to Gullane Point...

Along to the Reserve Point, 4.45pm  and nearly dark...

Out at the point and thousands of Pink Foot Geese sat out on the calm waters,  with hardly any battery life left in the phone it would have been nice to have recorded the noise...

Lights on in Edinburgh, Lights on for me too once back towards Gullane and the van,
A lovely evening cycle and loads more Beach glass collected to make something nice...

More soon...
