Beachride to St Cyrus and Ferryden coast

Sorry and apologies for the lack of weekly blog posts of late, its just been time consuming doing the hobbies elsewhere,  the motorcycle interest in YouTube which resulted in my channel being monetised kind of took centre stage along with not having my wee van repaired because of unfortunate circumstances (I got ripped off buying a supposedly overhauled engine and my mechanic has had a nightmare with it!) so there has not been any visits to other beaches,

Its not like I have not been doing other things, and sometimes its good to have a break from something for when you return to it the passion returns...

We did though have this ace long weekend up in Aberdeenshire using G's new (bigger) van and this was another great beachride...

What the coast lacked here in WW2 defences remaining to explore was rewarded with stunning scenery...

From St Cyrus we cycled to Montrose for some late lunch along the old disused railway line...

And returned along the beach which was near deserted!

We did happen across some WW2 anti invasion tank blocks which appeared out the dunes where the rest are buried...

It was not until we reached the estuary we found more...

All in a lovely days cycling...

Wee film... good to hear Boards of Canada again on the beach films!

More soon...
