dry feet!

i ride most of my bikes clipped in using time atac pedals...my shimano MT90 boots are about 4 years old now and probably could do with replacing as the soles are a bit bendy though i still find them comfy for walking/hike-a-biking...

but the problem i have always found with them is though there waterproof the gap to allow you to walk comfortably allows grit and water in the top without a wrap round gator or something similar when im wearing shorts or 3/4 trousers...

i remember having neuporene boot tops for motocross boots about 10 years ago when i raced enduros and they kept mud etc out,an hour searching and googling online found these...

there for hillrunning-or as its called in england and wales fell running, i got them from needle sports...there £10 and for what they will do worth every penny...they have a lace hook underneath at the front and a strong rubberloop to go under the sole in front of the heel

you just wear a normal sock as before under them, the fit is real comfy, they claim they are only water resistant so i will probably need to keep retreating them...
priceless for keeping sand out beachriding so 10/10 there...

  1. I will be watching with intrest. I've never managed to keep my feet dry on a wet ride yet.

Seal Skinz Waterproof socks will work for a short ride; but if you're out for an hour or two or in really harsh conditions they will fail.
