Beachcombing cycle at JMP...

 


Back to JMP to collect the trinkets I have been collecting...


Over 20 tail fins from WW2 Mortars  - the safe end!

Home guard and regular army would have fired these at targets on the coastal range here, most are in the same area, probably a target on the beach, possibly fired at from across at Tyninghame...

And nearby an area of sand moved with a recent swell exposed these .303 shell casings and bullets...


With my booty bagged it was back home...



Will see how these clean up using Electrolysis, once I find my battery charger in film below is some pics of friend Phil`s trying that method out on a tail fin from here...
