Northumberland beach riding; 8/8...

Refuelled at the van and the tide now out and the beach near deserted from day visitors we had a cruise down Bamburgh beach, a massive stretch of sand that is kind of dwarthed  by the size of Bamburgh Castle that dominates the coastline here, smaller and just as nice to look at is the little lighthouse at Harkess rocks where we parked...

The Rubik Cube painted WW2 Anti tank blocks probably get as many pictures as the castle!...

Time to head back to the van as the light faded and head for home after a superb days beachriding,

The Surly Moonlander has had many days out on the Northumberland coast and despite many miles and salt water abuse starting to take it's toll on the frame it is still a superb bike for cycling here...

And the new kid on the block - my own build `Surly Puglander` just as good and a well matched pair for beachriding...

Final film of this trip, Song is `Plains` by Tycho,

More soon...
