Northumberland beach riding; 4/8...
The rain and clouds had long since passed as we slowly winched up the long beach at Ross Back Sands, It was tough but steady into the constant wind and the wet sand was firm below the high tide line of the retreating tide...
We eventually neared the point and looking back we had come a long way when comparing it to the OS map...
Across the narrow channel was Lindesfarne, being the start of the English Bank Holiday weekend it would be absolutely packed with folk as the steady convoy of vehicles crossed the now open tidal causeway in the distance,
Nearer to us moving was a huge group of seals, we slowed down and approached even slower than we were doing to not spook them too much and they slowly started to move off into the water where as seals always do they bobbed about watching us pass by...
And finally we were here at the twin towers, as I have always referred totem when looking across to here from Lindesfarne....
I live in East Lothian, S.E. Scotland.
I fill my time with my hobbies, interests and passions. Often cycling along the coast here. I ride steel bikes with big wheels, I like to enjoy all interests of the coast, Its scenery, wildlife, local history, with my other interests in art and music when out and about...
I was diagnosed with Relapsing remitting Multiple Sclerosis in August 2018, it`s early days but i plan to continue to live my life as i have and show that having a medical condition like MS does not mean you need to stop enjoying your life,
Please excuse the bad grammar, i am working on it!
