Sunday morning and were out and about. early visit to Cove harbour, 1st visit for M and she loved it,

Then went a harvest ride with Jonny...

Great day, cooler but those classic big East Lothian skies...

Midweek Cycle, coastal trails...

Autumn is on it`s way and still be some lovely sunshine through September,
Take today, rain all day Monday and real `Driech` as the Scots say, then this morning the clouds broke up and stunning blue skies....

After work i grabbed the bike out the van and headed down to the grassy dunes and along the coast...

Bullet the blue sky...

Rock crawling on 29+ wheels while clipped in keeps you on your toes!

From Yellowcraig it was back to the van through the woods...

:)

All this to mow tomorrow!...

Hour fix... job done and bike back in the van...

Harvest Weekend Pt3..

Sunday morning and out on yesterdays harvested fields, never seen fields harvested, bailed, bales lifted and fields disc ploughed so fast,  wonder where the arriving Pink Foot Geese will go this year when they soon arrive from Greenland...

The local Parish fields of Athelstaneford and bales galore ready for filmimg...

Snooze and you lose... and the harvested fields up on the Ridgeroad have been disc furrowed so i rode east to Pencraig...

Great views from Pencraig south across the Shire...

Ace descent waits here north of Pencraig, but straw still to be bailed so a no no...

On the other side of the road though was more harvested fields waiting to ride...

Down into the village and time to head home...

Harvest Weekend, Pt 1

With two dry days and a dry weekend forecast the main harvest is in full swing in the Shire,
Always hard to go cycling on a Friday evening once home from a busy week at work, but like when it snows you have to get out and enjoy it as never is for long, so a couple of phone pics while i filmed around a few fields...
