Mowgli Reunion Cycle!!!
I borrowed Mowgli for Saturday for a reunion ride with friends Craig and Brian, Mowgli was pleased to see them both!, even the sun shone after a grim overcast last few days!,
Mowgli is still a great trail dog and full of energy!, since the last beachride with him last year he seems to have perfected solar snoozing recharging when we stop!...

We met at Gullane and rode up to Gullane hill as usual after soaking up the views...
Pleased to see Craig!...

Waiting on golfers to tee off the 12th of No1 course, some tyre pressure lowering...
Low tide line out to the subs wrecks to avoid the nesting areas of the Nature Reserve...
One happy dog!...
Pit stop for water...
Scorpion trail and Mowgli makes easy work of it with four paw drive...

Chips in NB and we sat at the War Memorial and basked in the warm sun out of the easterly breeze and did some people watching while Mowgli snoozed and recharged!...

Tail wind back to Gullane and still low tide so we rode low out on the exposed sands...

A stop for a blether and Mowgli had another snooze! lol...
Fantastic light and warm in the sheltered coves back to Gullane...
Craig rode the Surly Wednesday for a while and really likes it...
Brian enjoyed a ride on the Wednesday also, his On One fell tighter steering but it is planted and goes where you point it... Wednesday has 5" tyres so more `floaty` if there is such a description!...
Ice cream at Gullane beach car park then back to the cars and lazed around in the sun...
One of those sorts of days, not all about rushing and stats, there are other cycling disciplines for that...
We did ride 28 miles though which does beg the question, if we rode 28 miles how far did Mowgli run?!!!
