Saturday ride... Ash Lagoons, Cockenzie, Skiff racing...
Saturday i rode west from Longniddry to the Ash Lagoons at Preston Grange/Musselburgh with friends Andy and Jason. The Lagoons are reclaimed land filled with ash from Cockenzie power Station...
Need to return on the Moonlander as be ace here in the soft stuff...
Totem pole at Prestonpans. I have done a blog post on Prestonpans murals which you can see Here...
Along past the power station and Cockenzie harbour and to Port Seaton harbour...
There was Skiff racing. perfect weather for it and we lazed around in the sun watching...
My mate Trav was racing in one of the Cockenzie boats...
Looked like hard work, he will sleep tonight!...
Turned out a lovely afternoon to be on the coast...
The sunny weather brought out this old 2 litre MK1 Ford Escort...
