Fatbike Holiday long weekend Pt 2, photo dump and film...

At Forth Fat last May the Welsh crew said they would love to return to east Lothian and explore the trails and visit some of the history around our wee county. I suggested they return during the harvest at the end of August and dates were set for the Bank holiday long weekend. I decided to cap the number i invited to 8 as it`s enough folk to stay at my house!, and for a wild  bivi camp where we would leave no trace of our stay,
As often happens some folks could not make it and in the end only Jeff from Wales made the long drive, along with Mike from the NE of England, closer to home friends Colin had his daughter but still met up for a cycle Saturday,   Sanny had the cold and others just never got back to confirm!,  so 3 of us made base Friday.  With a midday arrival the planned 2 day Bivi was changed to Saturday evening, with an all  day Sunday ride until sunset, leaving Monday for a short ride and return journeys.
We would top over 130 miles into the long weekend with a lot of nice food and a few pints along the way, Harvest views, big Harvest moons, and  laughter around a fire each evening...

Harvest has been late this year, and typing this after the weekend the main Wheat harvest has now begun...
Here is some harvest footage from the previous week and a few clips from over the weekend...
