Bikepacking around Berwickshire

 

Weekend, and we decided to split from the coast and the mobs of visitors and also get a bit camping done and drove down the road into Berwickshire and do some bike packing...

Parked up in Duns the County town we were soon off cycling and rode 10 miles to Abby Saint Bathans  to set up camp for the evening...

British Army Survival Hot chocolate is the best ever!...

Next day we were up early and after breakfast packed the bikes and stopping at the bake house for supplies were soon peddling across county in a loop that would take in 25 miles under stunning clear skies...

Camped for the evening we had a swim in the warm river and enjoyed a lovely sunset...

Parked up we were soon rolling and peddled the last few miles back into Duns...
