Above is the FUJIFILM sports wide angle lens that came through the post yesterday from Jessops, retail £40...
This allows sports filming sports activities with a more stable film due to the wider Angle lens...
This mount allows the camera to be fitted to Go Pro equipment...
Like my Seat Post mount that is attached to a mono pod...
But with a regular mount and extender i can mount the camera on the chest mount...
So now i have a camera that can take as decent a picture as what the Go Pro does, ok it is a bit heavier and the wide lens is not as wide as the Go Pro, but you do see things in the distance when filming, and it has a micro phone that actually works!, not so good out in the wind but great when you want to pick up wildlife, water, and bikes riding past etc...
After a days rain- typical Edinburgh summer trades holiday weather!, the skies cleared in the late afternoon and i rode to Binning Woods to try out the new lens, everywhere was saturated but i was not worried as the muggy weather of yesterday had cleared with today's down pours...
Here is a film i shot, edited on Pinnicle Studio HD and then Windows Moviemaker...
