GFBD 2017

Global Fatbike Day 2017  East Lothian...

14 riders made the early start to get out to the sub wrecks at low tide on Saturday...

After a toast to Fatbike riders around the globe with Lindesfarne Mead we rode east along the coast stopping at Marine Villa for a brew up at the WW2 Searchlight station before rolling along the sands to North Berwick...

With the bike line up pic done it was back along the the John Muir Way and coast to Gullane and a pint and food at The Old Clubhouse...

East coast winter light...

  1. Hi coastkid,

follow your blog and your rides along the coast (mixed with salt, sand and history) for years now. And the fatbike-bug bites me: have a pugsley-frame in the basement, a number of parts are still at the Webshop (money...). Hope i will ride the pugsley in May 2018. For that time i enjoy your videos and from Gary Buckham. But his blog seems to be gone, would love to read more about puglseys... Have you any other blog to recommend?

    Thanks
    Christoph
