A group ride organised and some of the usual suspects made it, and what a day!, check out that high pressure blue sky!, it would be an amazing day for cycling the coast and we were out from 10am to sunset around 6.30pm, a slow easy social ride with plenty stopped allowing for pics and laughs,
I shot that much footage i decided to break up the editing into 4 films and post the still pics i took from the Go Pro in each section,
East beach;
Waiting for everyone to arrive and being early i went for a ride along the East Beach, where there is a good trail that runs along above the road...

NB to Gullane;
Jason, Craig, Stuart, Mark, and just after we started also Glyn turned up and we rode west heading for Gullane `in search of sand`... so much sand has been washed out by the last two big storms...
Still loads of wood planks on the coast!...

Gullane to Aberlady;
Stuart and Glyn now departed we continued on from Gullane towards Aberlady,
Below the cliffs exposed was a WW2 Coastal defence Anti Glider pole, complete, i have never seen this here!... been some storm...

After a stop at Gosford Bothy for food we rode on west to Gosford Bay to ride a loop around Kilspindie and back to Aberlady and through Luffness woods, the scenery was stunning in the sunshine, light magical on the water...

Return to NB
Shadows started to get longer as the sun set as we took sections of the John Muir Way and other linking trails back to NB...
Planks across a hole - couldn't resist riding it!, first `North Shore` on the West Beach!...
Temperatures started to drop as the sun disappeared, time to get home and the stove on, pizza and Cider...
