Beachride at Lunan Bay

Last day of our Angus coast visit and a a cycle along a stunning beach at Luann Bay...

A few nice WW2 defence still remain...

This pill box was minted and clean and tidy inside!

not seen one of these before without the steps to a machine gun mounting post before..

tank blocks disappeared into the dunes where are eyes were drawn to a pill box...

closer inspection revealed it had been turned into a bug out den with windows, insulation, settee, ned and even a stove piped in!...

fantastic!, our cycle continued to the beach end ...

doubling back er cycled to the other end and in the film you will see a cool tidal cave/arch we cycled through it being low tide...

riding back to the van and a well travelled Landrover that look real cool...

here is the final film in our fun little road trip...

more soon..
