Return to the WW2 XT Class Submarine wrecks
Back out on the Fatbikes and parked up at Dirleton we cycled along to Gullane zig zag out a brutal strong westerly wind to Gullane, I have been meaning to investigate this thick wire rope that has appeared in the dunes at Archerfied...
This is definitely off a military vehicle and there was tanks along with other vehicles here in WW2 when the Estate was requisitioned by the War Office for Army training...
Across up on Gullane we cycle through the Reserve and soaked up the splendid views...
Before winching out across the sands into the brutal headwind...
The subs are disappearing every year as they are slowly corroding away and dissolving with the salt water and winter storms, but always good to go see them again...
Another big sky day in the Shire!
With loads of film and pics done we enjoyed an easy tail wind assisted cruise back to Archerfield, a great day out on the Fatbikes...
I live in East Lothian, S.E. Scotland.
I fill my time with my hobbies, interests and passions. Often cycling along the coast here. I ride steel bikes with big wheels, I like to enjoy all interests of the coast, Its scenery, wildlife, local history, with my other interests in art and music when out and about...
I was diagnosed with Relapsing remitting Multiple Sclerosis in August 2018, it`s early days but i plan to continue to live my life as i have and show that having a medical condition like MS does not mean you need to stop enjoying your life,
Please excuse the bad grammar, i am working on it!
