Harvest is Go!

With a near gale force wind blowing Saturday the Combines have started on the main harvest!
Working Saturday affy doing car parking and other stuff for `Hops In The Garden` Beer Festival i passed the big monster cycling to work,  this 780 Claas has a huge cutting width!, must be getting on for 35 feet..

Down at work and the afternoon flow of traffic arriving was steady which meant an easier time and steady flow of visitors...

I got away before 5pm after some pizza and pint of a German style Hops Lager, suitably named `Fury` it has a good kick!...

Not home for long as the drone of the big Harvester had me back out for a cycle on the 29+ KramPug...

Nice evening light across the shire...

When the sun came out again from behind a big moody cloud it was time to get some film and catch the shadows...

Song is `I Took Your Name` by R.E.M.

I should have stayed out another hour for sunset but tired from a busy day and had a film to now edit!

KramPug;
The 29+ wheeled Surly Pugsley i named a `KramPug`  ( Originally Surly Krampus rims and tyres on a Pugsley)  is my Default Harvest bike,  riser bars refitted for hopping the odd deep rut and Alfine Internal Gear Hub for nothing to snag in Straw and for a comfortable bike it`s hard to beat for this time of year in the fields...

4 years now on 29+ wheels and 10 years old this Halloween, an ace bike :)
