Midweek Update; Cutting it fine at work, Commuting to Harvest Scenery, and the Lean To - re roofed!...

 Archerfield`s Sunflowers!...

The week started off a bit overcast and dull light on the commutes to work and home again though combines were still out as dry enough...

Been a real busy week at work as we cut all the hedges on the Estate, real physical tiring job, more so than chainsawing, which is mostly below waist height, while operating the boom cutter is above shoulder height,  slept well the last few nights! lol...

Then this morning dawned with new light!...

I often stop here for 5 mins and soak up the views that change through the seasons..

Down to work and the Sunflowers are opening up more in numbers daily and are an amazing sight..

A day finishing up on Hedge cutting and back onto mowing and strimming....

 Plenty to see all around...

Heading home and combines were out...

I planned to do a Harvest cycle this evening but just too knackerd after a couple of real busy days so relaxed in the Lean-to,  here is my chill zone, recently re roofed!...

Lean-To...
Put a new roof on the lean too a couple of weeks ago, good to get rid of that horrid plastic sheeting..

Job done...

With a sofa and lighting it`s a relaxing place to sit and chill, and look out at the garden and trees and sky... listen to the radio or read...

It is full of old things that belonged to my father, things i have found, collected or been given over the years...

And lit up in evenings is nice to sit out in the cooler evenings...

More soon...
