A previous nights heavy rain has firmed up the sand on the dunes so it was down to Peffersands for a spot of dune surfing before the fast incoming high tide would swallow the run out onto the beach...
Timed perfect to skid over the Go Pro camera for the film!...
Tide was coming in at quite a rate!
Through the newer low dunes and the paths have again been covered by drifting sands. Stabilised with the Marram grass growing through securing them, these dunes continue to grow...
Perfect...

In contrast to the colours of the coast the woods are now lush green as the tree canopy has opened and with the previous nights heavy rain.Away from the roar of the sea the sound of birds is in a different way very relaxing to the wave therapy of the surf
