The two older Surly Pugsleys`s get a lot of use with the black and orange pug with mech gears and 4" fat wheels my go to beach bike, and the green and orange pug with Alfine IGH and 29+ wheels for more riding options...
With the Alfine IGH and racks for panniers or bags the green Pug makes for a good utility bike with faster running Maxxis Chronicle tyres for tarmac...
The green bike also has tow nuts fitted for the FatBOB trailer, yet i don`t think i have posted pics of the trailer fitted with 29+ wheels,
Drive side standard trailer bobbin...
Non drive side with spacer bobbin flipped using a longer allen bolt for the Pugsley`s offset rear wheel...
Loads of tyre clearance with the 29er trailer yolk and 29+ 3" wide tyres on 50mm rims...
I gave it a wee test ride around Sandy Hirst Point at Tyninghame...
Was a stunning morning and quiet being early...
This walked out trail out to Sandy Hirst Point is recent, showing the increase in people visiting here...
Song is `Under the Coke Sign` by Boards of Canada,
More soon..
