Saturday is Faterday...

Riding at home holiday week day 8;
Down to Law Cycles in North Berwick early and another new fat bike is going out to good friend and fellow East Lothian blogger Gavin

Gavin has wanted a fat bike for a long time and has got himself the Salsa Mukluk 3 and it is a real nice spec bike...

Jason turned up on his replacement framed pugsley which he had custom powder coated Kawasaki Green, it looks sweet!,  we rode to the east beach...

Gavin rolled on to the sand on his new bike... and then had the biggest grin ever...

We then rode west out to Yellowcraig...

Lovely top floor flat for sale over looking the west beach in North Berwick...

Its view will be amazing from up there...  A dream coast house!
If you fancy it make an offer over £520,000 and it could be yours! yep thats how much it costs to live here in North Berwick! Details and view pics here...

Om nom nom nom!...

Lots of fat bike chatter...

Fishery protection boat?...

That is one real nice bike...

Some wave therapy film at Weaklaw rocks, near Marine Villa, such a relaxing noise...

One of my favourite things to find on the coastline, washed in the high tide these are Sea Potato and are members of the Urchin family...

Fantastic colours of rocks here on the coast. This cairn appeared a couple of years ago and shows all the types of rocks to be found here at Weaklaw Rocks, I am no geologist but i guess it is mostly sandstone...

We rode up through Archiefield Estate to Dirleton then down the trail to Yellowcraig...

First signs of spring...

And back to North Berwick for food at Cake Cafe... Gavin has got a lovely bike and the Mukluk 3 looks like a great value for money fat bike. i will post up ongoing views of the bike and how it preforms...

  1. Good stuff. You can't move for fat bikes these days! The boat looks like MPV Minna, that is quite sad if I'm right.

    1. Minna and Jura are fishery protection. They are Scottish Govt, so you and me own a wee bit of them!

Or look up AIS marine traffic for live view.
